ST. JAMES THEATRE. Unseen death haunts the cabin of a seaplane as it speeds from Los Angeles to Catalina Island in the mysterycomedy, “Murder on a Honeymoon, featuring Edna May Oliver and Janies Gleason, and showing at the St. James Theatre to-night and to-morrow night. Chills, thrills and chuckles alternate in this exciting murder mystery, which is a companion picture of “The Penguin Pool Murder” and “Murder on the Blackboard.” Miss Oliver and Mr Gleason again played tne characters! they made famous, that of a spinster-1 sleuth and a wise-cracking police inspector, respectively. Except tor the! early aerial scenes, aTT of the action! takes place on the resort island of I Catalina. Scenting murder iii the mysterious death aboard the sky liner,l Miss Oliver, as Hildegarde Withers,! sends a telegram to James Gleason to I join her in solving the crime, with! plenty of spooky atmosphere, scientific! sleuthing and considerable shoot-! ing.
