McCREADY BEATS BLOM FIELD. GISBORNE, Jan. 16. A wrestling contest announced as the British Empire •heavy-weight championship, drew a packed house tonight. The wrestlers were "Lofty'' Blomfield (New Zealand) and Earl McCready (Canada), and they gave a good exhibition. The contest went the full eight, rounds. In the seventh round, a penalty fall was awarded
against Blomfield for repeatedly tossing McCready on to the ropes. There were no other falls, and the Canadian was declared the winner.
