BUTCHERS RESUME.
DISPUTE OVER "CHAIN" SYSTEM
(Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, January 16. After taking a vote this morning, mutton slaughtermen at Westfield freezing works resumed work at 10 o'clock. The men stopped work yesterday morning as a result of differences about tlie rate of remuneration of butchers engaged in killing on the "chain" system.
