NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT POST-SECTION PLAY IN RINKS. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. After three round of post-sectional play yesterday, 19 rinks remain to fight for" the 1936 Dominion championship title. Five are left with two lives, and the other 14 are eliminated if they suffer one more defeat. Five greens were used yesterday, and overnight rain, the effects of which were made worse by occasional showers during the day, made all of them drag a little. In addition to the rinks games three games lvere played, and one decided by default, in the first round of the final draw for the pairs, and the New South Wales pair, R. Law and S. Morris, winning the only second round game, has ensured that it will be in the semi-final at least. One singles game was also played, A. P. King, of the Elmwood Club, scoring a handsome win over F. D. Whibley (Greymouth) in the first round. With rinks, pairs and singles all neaping the final stages, public interest in the tournament has quickened, and, in spite of the weather, there were good attendances at the five greens in use yesterday. Much interest was taken in an exciting game, one of the best the tournament has yet produced, between Anderson (Dunedin) and Livingstone (Onehunga). The winning rink, Dunedin, has still two lives, but Ouneliunga is not yet eliminated, and with one life yet to go is still a force to be reckoned with in the final result. The following remain in for games today:— Two Lives. W. Anderson (Dunedin). R. Haworth (Canterbury). J. E. Gagliarcli (Edgeware). C. E. Tyrrell (Rcslyn). J. A. Veitch (West Harbour). One Life. J. A.
