LEAGUE'S FINANCES.
BEST SINCE ESTABLISHMENT. BUDGET CREDIT BALANCE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) GENEVA, January 14. The League of Nations finances are the best since the League was established. In addition to ; a Budget surplus economies and underspending have brought the credit balance to 9,000,000 gold francs, of which 1,205,000 will be transferred to the reserve, the balance being returned to member states by means of the reduction of the contributions.
