TIMARU, January 14. The South Island croquet championship tournament was concluded to-day, results in the finals being as follow: — Open Championship—W. H. Kirk beat H. A. Penn, 26-14, 26-23.
Women's Championship Singles—Mrs Corbett beat Mrs Palmer, 26-15, 26-6.
