Bowling for South Australia, Ward took three wickets for 36 runs, Waite three for 34. South Australia (first innings 340) ,in its second innings made 29 for no wickets (Badcock 16 and Parker 12). TARRANT'S ELEVEN BEATEN. THE MATCH AGAINST INDIA. LAHORE, Jan. 12. India defeated Frank Tarrant's cricket team by 68 runs. India (first innings 149), in its second innings scored 301 (Wazir Ali 92). Leather took five wickets for 102, Nagel two for 50. Tarrant's team (first innings 166)', in the second innings made 216 (Morrisby 35, Ryder 70, Oxenham 30).
