CHARGE OF THEFT.
HUGE SUM INVOLVED. ALLEGATIONS AT DUNEDIN'. (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, This Day. In the Police Court to-day, Leslie David Woolf, aged 40, an insurance broker, was charged with the theft of £9O from the Australian Alliance Assurance Company. The police said it was understood that a sum of £2300 would be the subject of an ultimate charge or charges. Accused was remanded on bail, self £SOO and two sureties of £SOO.
