TINWALD STOCK MARKET. PRICES AT FREEZING SCHEDULE. ENTRY OF MIXED QUALITY. Prices for fat sheep at the Tinwald stock sale to-day, the first held for three weeks, were down to freezing schedule. Excepting for a few pens of extra prime sheep suitable for butchers' requirements, bidding was slow, and values compared with the last sale showed a decline of up to 2s a head. There was a fair entry, but the quality on the whole was mixed. Up to midday, Mr F. P. Cookson (Eiffelton) topped the fat ewe 'section with a pen of seven extra prime sheep at 17s Id, the next best 16s 10d, going to Mr R. O. Lilley (Lagmhor) for a pen of seven. A client headed the Avether section with a pen of 12 at 21s 7d. There was a small entry of cattle.

Fat lambs—M.. O'Kiefe (Tinwald), 4 at 21s 4d, H. Dollman 3 at 19s lOd; client 1 at 23s 6d. Cattle—Fat cows two at £6, 1 at £3 2s 6d, £3, £6, £6 2s 6d, £4, £3 15s, £4 ss, £4 12s 6d; fat heifers £5 ss, £5 15s.

WOOL IN SYDNEY. GREATLY INCREASED SALES. (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The wool sold in Sydney between August 1 and December 3 realised £11,015,171, which is £3,758,946 more than for the corresponding six months of 1934.

This is partially due to the fact that sales were 156,446 bales greater, but was also caused by improved prices, the average obtained being 13.8 d a lb, compared with 9.8 d twelve months previously.
