Wrestling at the Leichhardt Stadium Tom Lurich was disqualified in the fifth round of his match against the "Mysterious Ghost," when lie ignored a warning from the police that rough tactics must cease The "Ghost/' who was clad from head to foot in black, and painted to represent a skeleton, had Lurich in trouble throughout the bout. Naismjth, one over par, tied for fifteenth place in the first round of the Riverside open 3000 dollars championship tournament at Los Angeles yesterday. For the best score of the Australian visiting goiters Vic Ghezzi led the field with a sensational 68. The scores of other visitors were:—Cohen 75', Bolger 70, Ted Najsmith 77, Richardson ?8, Kelly To-day the Australians still found the going difficult. Cohen led the visitors with a two-round total ot lov, but was fortieth in standing. Bolger and George Naismith, with 151 and 152 respectively, managed to break under 153 to qualify for to-morrow s two final rounds. The scores of the other Australians were:—Ted Naismith 154, Kelly and Richardson 156.
