SYDNEY, This Day. The miners' council yesterday endorsed the decisions of the conference of mining unions to hold aggregate meetings in all coalfields throughout Australia on Wednesday to decide whether the miners are in favour of a general stoppage in sympathy with the striking seamen. If the vote is in favour of a stoppage the production of coal will probably stop on Friday. The council also agreed to try to extend the strike to the land and marine transport unions and a special subcommittee was appointed to interview officials of those organisations to seek their co-operation.

Menzies) said that the miners Avere making a grave mistake if they thought the policy of the Federal Ministry would be altered by their threat. STEADY FLOW OF VOLUNTEERS ABEL TASMAN LEAVES SYIDNEY.
