INFORMATION ROBOT.
INSTALLATION AT WELLINGTON. THE FIRST IN AUSTRALASIA. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A Robot information machine, the first of the kind in New Zealand or Australia, has been installed at the General Post Office. The numbers run to 50, and on pressing a button there shoots into sight a large card with full details.
Until the novelty wears off, the machine is expected to be much in demand. Eventually it will greatly ease the work at the information counter.
