NAZIS AND JEWS.
FOREIGN CRITICISM RESENTED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) BERLIN, January 2. A summarised version of Mr James MacDonald’s letter to the League of Nations resigning the position of High Commissioner for Jewish and other refugees from Germany, was first communicated to the press by the official news agency, with the comment: “Because Germany was endeavouring to straighten out the abuse of domination by foreign elements, people abroad think they are entitled to utter derogatory criticism and give advice. It is suggested that the League concern itself with the treatment of minorities within the League States, instead of how Germany is accomplishing the in ternal building up of the nation.”
