THE ASHBURTON CLUB. PROGRESSIVE PAIRS TOURNEY. A progressive pairs tournament held by the Ashburton Bowling Club yesterday resulted in three players tying in both the leads and skips. In the skips W. R. Featherston, P. Boothroyd, and W. R. Lane gained three wins each out of five, and in the leads A. R, Gourley, D. Gilmour and J. Bowden- obtained three and a half wins each out of five.
