BOGGY AERODROMES! IN PERSIA (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, January 1. The India-bound mail aeroplane which left London on December 24 has been held up for three days at Rutbah Wells because the.aerodrome at Bagdad, the next scheduled stop, is unserviceable, owing to heavy rains. This service is not carrying the Australian mail, but the England-bound Australian service, due in London on January 6, has been delayed at Basra for the same reason. Both services norv able to proceed.
