THE BOMBING JUSTIFIED. NOT DIRECTED AT RED CROSS. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) ROME, January 1. The Ministry of Propaganda in a communique declares that the bombing near Dolo was justified by the fact that two Italian airmen jvho landed at Dagabur were decapitated and their heads borne in triumph to Herod. The bombing was not aimed at Swedish or other Red Cross units, although the Abyssinian chiefs take refuge in such places. , J FIGHTING DURING THE RAINS. EXPECTATION BY ITALIANS. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) ASMARA, January 1. An Italian staff officer states that the army will remain in the field during the entire rainy season. He confidently expected that fighting would continue, though he realised that the rains will affect the newly-made roads.
