WOMAN ARRESTED.
CHARGE OF ABANDONING BABY. (Per Press Association). INVERCARGILL, December 27. The Invercargill police this evening arrested a woman who is alleged to have abandoned a baby hoy in Woolworths’ store in Christchurch & week ago. The woman will ho charged in the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow morning with abandoning the child.
.ACCUSED BEFORE THE COURT.. A REMAND TO CHRISTCHURCH. INVERCARGILL, This Day. Delia Rabbitt, a single woman, aged 25, who came from Greymouth, was charged at the Police Court with having abandoned her infant child on the night of December 20, at Christchurch. Accused, who was arrested at Centre Bush, was remanded to appear at Christchurch on Monday.
