DROWNED IN DAM.
WOMAN AND TWO CHILDREN. TWO OTHERS RESCUED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 26. Mrs Florence Angwin, of Leichhardt and her son and daughter were drowned to-day in a colliery dam at Helensburgh on the South Coast. A third Angwin child and a woman friend were rescued by several men bathers who heard their screams, but were unable to find Mrs Angwin and the two children until it was too latq. , . . It appears that two members ot the party walking on the edge of the dam slipped in, and the others immediately jumped in to try to save them.
