ALLEGED ESPIONAGE.
FOUR ARRESTS IN BELGIUM. GERMANS AND FORTIFICATIONS. (United Press Association— Copyright.) LONDON, December 24. The Brussels correspondent of the “Morning Post” says four men were arrested at Liege for alleged espionage after a search of their houses had ievealed a detailed list of questions put by the German secret service. The questions related to. the niimbei of machine-guns and tanks in the Bei - gian Army, the new frontier foltlfi( ; a ~ tions, the disposition of troops, and the construction of a new siege gun. It is alleged that the men regulails made contact with the chief of the German espionage system at Munster. One is reported to have confessed ieceiving £350 for giving; information. to the Germans, and another to having received £ISOO. _____
