WAGES INCREASED.
CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAYMEN. (Per Press Association.) CHRTSTCHURCHI, This Day. A decision to restore the remaining 5 per efent. of the 10 per cent, cut in wages imposed in 1931 has been reached between the Christchurch Tramway Board and the various unions concerned. The agreement will affect the majority of the Board’s employees and will cost between £6OOO and £7OOO annually.
