LEAP FROM BRIDGE
HOSPITAL PATIENT’S DEATH.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 12,
David John Greenaway, aged 22, a single man, of Buckland, near Pukekohe, who was admitted to hospital on Saturday as a medical case, left Ins bed shortly before midnight in pyjamas ran along the street to the Grafton Bridge, and disappeared over the parapet, after two men had made unsuccessful efforts to check him. Greenaway, who suffered grave hea injuries, was dead when the police feund his body in a deep gully about an hour later.
