GIRL KILLED BY A TRAIN. STEPPED OFF ON WRONG SIDE. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Fatal injuries were received by a 12-year-old schoolgirl, Margaret Hazelwood, who resided with her parents at Upper Hutt, when she was knocked down by a train at the Upper Hutt station. It appeared that the girl stepped from the train on which she was travelling on the side! farthest from the station platform, and was knocked down by a train approaching from the other direction.
BUSHMAN FATALLY INJUREr'D. GREYMOUTH, November 12. Mr John Heeney, a worker at Steele and Reedy’s mill at Kumara Bush, was struck by a. sapling and fatally injured.
CYCLIST KILLED BY MOTOR-CAR.
NELSON, November 12, Mr Frank Lusty, a well-known resident of Richmond, was killed this afternoon at Richmond, as a result of a collision between a bicycle he was riding and a motor-car driven by Mr R. Bensemann.
