WELLINGTON, November 12. Twenty-one years as the Wellington Centre’s representative on the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association is the record of Mr Baxter O’NeiU (Christchurch), who was re-elected to office last evening. In proposing Mr O’Neill’s re-elec-tion, Mr P. Coira said his record was a proud one and showed the unfailing interest of. Mr O’Neill and his keenness for swimming, particularly on behalf of the Wellington Centre. Mr N. McCartney paid a tribute to the work* done by Mr O’Neill, who, ho said, had kept the Wellington Centre better informed of matters of interest than any other in New Zealand. The chairman (Mr W. H. It was decided that a letter of appreciation should be sent to Mr O’Neill and that appreciation of his services should be recorded.
