CLASHES IN PARIS
FASCISTS AND COMMUNISTS. ARMISTICE DAY PARADES. SOME CASUALTIES RESULT. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 11. Crowds estimated between 250,000 and 400,000 packed the Champs Elysees during the Armistice parades, and sang the Internationale and Marseillaise. Fascist groups marched to the Arc do Triomphe, -while Communists shouted "assassins.” Several clashes occurred. A number of arrests were made. A National deputy, Herriot, was among those injured. Tension prevailed in the evening in Boulevards,-where large forces ’of police broke up groups.
