Lady Ferguson, of Dunedin, visited Ashburton this afternoon, and was entertained by members of the Cavendish Club. She is returning from Christchurch, where she opened the St. Saviour’s Fair yesterday.
F. W. Seldon, of Christ’s College, Christchurch, a son of Mr F. W. Seldon, of Christchurch, has been awarded a Somes junior scholarship, tenable at Christ’s College in 1936 and 1937. He won the scholarship awarded to boys under 16 years of age.
