LATE MR CONNOLLY
EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr J, Connolly, M.P., was carried in silence at the meeting of the Ashburton High School Board of Governors this morning. At a. meeting of the Fairfield Cricket Club’s management committee members stood in silence as a mark of respect to the memory of Mr Connolly. The Fail-ten Women’s Institute expressed sympathy with the relatives at its meeting on Thursday.
