DISTURBANCES IN PARLIAMENT,
(United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) ) BRISBANE, This Day.
The proceedings in the Legislative Assembly were interrupted by a shower of pamplilets on the heads of the members. They were thrown from the gallery by Mrs Nora Solly, who stood at the last election as an Independent.
Constables found that the woman was chained and padlocked to the gallery. After workmen had cut through the chain with a hacksaw she resisted efforts to remove her.
