DEAF COUPLE ROBBED

BURGLARS STEAL OVER £SOO. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, September 25. The house, of an elderly deaf couple in Newton was entered by burglars last night while the occupants slept. More than £-500 was stolen, mostly m notes, and some old gold. The hats of the man and his wife were found nearby. The burglars presumably departed in disguise.
