The re-establishment of the defence forces is likely to dominate the next elections, says the “Morning Post,” commenting on Mr Neville Chamberlain’s speech, in which he declared that Britain’s defences had reached a dangerously low level. The “Daily Express” says it understands the Government has decided on a big rearmament plan, involving rebuilding and increasing the navy, and a further expanse of the Royal Air Force.
