BOXING.
Jones defeats Humphreys. SYDNEY, September 23. At the Stadium to-night,-in a 15 rounds bout, an American negro, Tommy Jones (lOst 81b), knocked out Dick Humphreys (lOst 71b), the former Australian champion. The latter held his own in a fast and clever contest until he was dropped in the twelfth round for the full count.
