TENNIS.
THE WILLOWBY CLUB. The annual meeting of the Willowhy Tennis Club was held in the schoolroom. Mr R. J. Chapman was elected captain, with Miss Joyce Papworth as vice-cap-tain, and Miss M. Lill treasurer. The election of a secretary to fill the place vacated by Mrs Day, who for seveial years has worked strenuously in this capacity, was left in abeyance. It was decided to officially open the courts for the season on Saturday afternoon, October 5.
