Two enormous blocks of stone weighing 30 tons each are being taken from Schonberg quarry, in the Odemvald district, to East Prussia, to serve as material for two huge statues of German soldiers. These giants in field grey will be used as supports at either side of the entry to the crypt in the Hindenburg Memorial at Tannenburg.
