QUEENSLAND CIVIL SERVANT. SUICIDE IN SUPERIOR’S ROOM. (Unitetl Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. Stewart Lyle Stormouth, a clerk in the petty sessions, died in sensational circumstances in the office of the Under-Secretary of the Department of Justice. Stormouth handed the Under-Secre-tary (Mr G. A. Carter) a letter applying for long-service leave, and then drew a revolver, firing two shots into his left breast. Stormouth died before an ambulance arrived. Deceased had a fin© war record. He was captured at Siivla Bay, and was for three years a prisoner with the Turks.
