KNOCK-OUT IN FIRST ROUND. NEW YORK, August 29. “Buddy” liaer, younger brother of the former champion, scored a firstround knock-out over Jack. Doyle, the Irish heavy-weight, at Madison Square Garden to-night. Baer weighed 17.0*-, and Doyle 14.8.
