STRIKE PLEDGED
LABOUR OPPOSITION TO WAR.
BRISBANE, August 29
The Queensland Trades and Labour Council, which represents 16,000 unionists, has pledged itself to organise a general strike in the event of the Federal Government involving Australia in an overseas war.
