Major Douglas, interviewed by a representative of the “Sun-Herald” service, following the triumph of the Social Credit Party in Alberta, Canada, said: “I expect the Social Credit, system will make great strides elsewhere, including Australia and New Zealand, where there are prospects of immediate success, in New Zealand particularly, if the party obtains the balance of power in the Canadian Federal elections.
