Orders-in-Council, extending most favoured nation treatment to Australia and New Zealand, have been approved and will become effective on September The Minister of National revenue (Air Lawson) announced that the Ottawa trade agreements gave special treatment to selected lists of goods imported into Canada from these Dobut since then Canada, had made agreements with other countries, granting most favoured nation treatment. The orders now regularise trade relations between Canada and the Antipodes, ensuring their goods treatment not less favourable than that accorded to like goods from a foreign country. In order to enjoy the concessions such goods must he shipped direct from Australia and New Zealand to Canada. .
