THE REV. DAVID W. DAVIES. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, . August 27. _ The Revi. David William Davies is dead, aged 95. He was the oldest minister of the Presbyterian Church in Australia.
MR E. R. BEAN.
NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Mr E. R. Bean, formerly Postmaster at Woodville, Lower Hutt, Collingwood, Te Aro and Feilding and Relieving Postmaster at Wellington, is dead. He retired from the service 15 years ago and has resided since at New Plymouth. He was a very keen bowler.. Mr Bean is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs A. Grant, of Ashburton. Mr W. Bean, of Nelson is a brother.
