DEPARTURE THIS MORNING.
BUSY DAY IN FAREWELLS. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, July 30. After two crowded days attending fareAvell gatherings, the NeAV Zealand Rugby team is due to sail at 7 o’clock to-morroAV morning for the tour of Great Britain and Canada. The members of the team had a particularly busy day to-day. At 10 a.m. they were the guests of Lord and Lady GalAvay at morning tea at Government House, and) later the Catholic members of the party Avere fareAvelled by the Marist Brothers Old. Boys’ Club. The team Avere the guests of the NeAV Zealand Rugby Union at a dinner tonight, and aftenvards attended the Poneke Rugby Football Club’s dance at the Town Hall, from Avhich they made their Avay to the Rangitiki. /Shortly after the arrival of the team in England an M.C.O. team Avill be leaving for a tour of Noav Zealand, playing matches in Australia en route. Opportunity has been taken by the Wellington Cricket Association to forAvard greetings to the M.C.C. team per medium of the captain (J. E. Manchester) and the vice-captain (C. J. Oliver). It is probable that the members of both teams, Rugby and cricket, will meet at a sportsmen’s function to be held in London early in September in honour of the New Zealand Rtigby team.

The All Blacks sailed by the Rangitiki Avhich left for London yia Panama, at 7.10 a.m. A largo gathering of friends and relatives wore present to see them off. There were also present officials of the Rugby Union Avishing them Bon voyage and. a successful tour.
