LONDON, July 29
In the House of Commons the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Sir Samuel Hoare) said lie understood that the French Government had accepted the proposal of the committee of the League .of Nations Council for technical discussions to elaborate' a detailed plan of settlement of Assyrians from Iraq in the Gharb, area in Syria, and discussions would start in Beirut at the beginning of August.
