MORE IMMIGRATION ADVOCATED
(United Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, July 30. Addressing the annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce, the president (Mr R. M.. Clark), said business conditions were decidedly better than at the beginning of the year. Most people were apt to declare that the depression was over, but there were still many things to be done.
Mr Clark advocated an increase in migration, contending that employment would increase as more people were admitted to the country.
