ASHBURTON WOMEN’S CLUB. The draw fog.’ the third grade stroke match of the Ashburton Women’s Golf Club to-morrow is as follows:—• Miss K. Anderson’and Miss B. Mnirhead, Mrs C. M. Innes and Mrs L. E. Andrew, Miss E. Anderson and Mrs G. H, Nicoll. THE METHVEN CLUB. . Bitterly cold weather was experienced for the monthly medal match played by the Methven Golf Club. . The match was won by A. D. Morris with 96—22—74 net. K. Fryer handed in the next best card of 110 —30—80. The Ladies’ Club played the second round of the Ireland Vase competition, over 18 holes, on the Mount Harding links on Saturday. The weather was fine, though bitterly cold. The best scores were: Miss Todhunter and Mrs A. Lawrence. 77 ,(equal), first. Miss Ngaire Campbell returned a score of 82, and Mrs M. Stone 84.
LAKE COLERIDGE BEATS METHVEN. Over the week-end the Methven Club played a friendly match against Lake Coleridge Club at the latter’s links. Lake Coleridge won by seven games to four. The results are as* follow, Methven names being given first in each instance:—< Fryer and Farr lost to O’Rorke and Worsdale, Wallace and Temple lost to Oockburn and Hart, Jackman and Compigne beat Everton and James, Gourlay halved with Cameron, Fryer lost to O’Rorke, Farr lost to Worsdale, Wallace.lost to Cockburn, Temple lost to Hart, Jackman beat Everton, Compigne- beat James, Gourlay halved with Cameron. THE MAYFIELD CLUB. The following is the draw for lie second round of the Mayfield Golf Club’s championships:— Miss D. Mulligan v. Mrs J. J. Mulligan, Miss B. Morrow v. winner, Miss M. Tasker v.
