I The case , was concluded in the Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr Justice Kennedy, in which Edward Richard Quin faced charges arising out of the death of a. hoy after a collision in Stuart street on Easter Saturday. The charges against Quin were jthat on April 20, while in a state of intoxication, he was in charge of a motor-car, and by act or omission in relation thereto he caused the death bf Ronald Stuart Erridge; and, alternatively, that he negligently drove a motor-car and thereby caused the death of Erridge. -The accused was found guilty on the first charge. | This morning Quin was sentenced to 21 month s’ hard labour and prohibited jfrorn driving a car for 10 years.
