DAMAGES AWARDED
BOY INJURED BY LORRY.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 26.
A 3 damages for injuries suffered in an accident, a messenger, Robert William Patience, aged 15, was awarded £263 by a jury in the Supreme Court to-day. The defendants were Marris and Campbell, Ltd., who admitted liability. The boy was riding a bicycle when defendants’ lorry, which was negligently driven, collided with him. The plaintiff suffered a broken arm and various other injuries.
