TARRANT’S INTENTIONS.
TOUR WILL BE MADE. • MELBOURNE, July 26. Frank Tarrant said to*day that he would proceed with his plans for an Indian cricket tour unless the Maharajah of Patiala, who is financing it, decided otherwise. Tarrant said he had telegraphed to the Board of Control requesting reconsideration of the case of Oxenham, who had been repeatedly overlooked for test tours. He declared lie would have liked to have taken Chilvers and Kippax, but he bowed to the board’s decision about these and the other players.
