THE LONDON WOOL SALES. KEEN DEMAND AT FULL RATES. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.36 a.m.) LONDON, July 24.
At the wool sales 7387 bales were offered, including 4011 New Zealand. About 5486 Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was keen Home and Continental competition at full late rates.
New Zealand clips sold as follow: Greasy half bred circle, best up to 122 d, average 12fd; greasy crossbred, 10|d and 9fd; slipe halfbred lambs’, Belfast, 16d and 15£d. THE DUTCH BANK RATE.
