UNIQUE HONOUR
LORD WAKEFIELD A FREEDMAN. (United Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, July 23. Viscount Wakefield, whose name has been associated in recent years with the encouragement of record-breaking attempts on land, water, and air speed records, received to-day the Freedom of the City of London. He is a formei' Lord Mayor, and the honour is unique for a member of the Corporation. Tributes were paid to Lord Wakefield’s many acts of generosity and benevolence.—British Official Wireless.
