VISIT TO CHANNEL ISLANDS. FOG PREVENTS FLYING, (United Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, July 23. Because of fog in the Channel, the Prince of Wales’was unable to fly from the mainland to Jersey. He lett Portsmouth at midnight by the destroyer Faulkner, and was greeted at St Helier with great enthusiasm. Latei he drove to the State building, where he received an official welcome.
