ENTERTAINMENTS.

MAJESTIC THEATRE. Bubbling with elation over a 5000dollar lottery prize, Joe Martin hurries to cash the ticket that will free him from the necessity of dancing at Tony’s and give him the money to live like a gentleman in Havana. His blonde dance-partner, Goldie, and his cynical reporter Flash, accompany him. While Joe waits for his money, lovely, fabulously wealthy Diana Harrison enters with another winning ticket. Joe looks her over appreciatively, but when lie learns that she holds the same number as his —that his ticket is a forgery—he turns on her in rage. Joe blames Diana for the loss of his winnings. This is the start of the story of “Rumba,” featuring George Roft and Carole Lombard, showing finally to-night- at the Majestic Theatre.
