PEDIGREE HENS’ EGGS
SHIPMENT ACROSS THE TASMAN. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 23. A rather unusual service was rendered by. the Wellington office of a stock and station agency to-day, when 27 pedigree eggs were forwarded from Air D. Walker, Tiakitahuna, to Air F. P. Finney, of Sydney, by the Alakura. The eggs are those of Rhode Island Red fowls imported from England, and Air Walker expected to ship further numbers to Australia in the near future. Air Finney, to whom the eggs were consigned, was the first Australian to receive a parcel of eggs by! the London air mail. These eggs were consigned by Lord Greenaway, and arrived in good order and condition in Sydney,
